The Ministry of Economy and Development successfully organized the first round of discussions on the revision of the draft Law on Investment, signaling its commitment to improving the country's investment and business environment. The event was attended by representatives of international organizations, IFIs, foreign embassies in Mongolia, chambers of commerce, business communities, and investors.
During the discussion, the draft revision of the Law on Investment was introduced, and participants openly discussed the current state of Mongolia's investment environment, opportunities for investment and business, difficulties faced by investors with government support, and ways to address them.
The revised draft of the Law on Investment is now open for public comment on the Ministry of Economy and Development website until May 15, 2023.
